Gorara is a Moroccan association that is active in the cultural and artistic domain. Established in 2016, it aims to contribute to the cultural development of Moroccan society. In this respect, it instills, through arts and culture, the following values:
– A civic, positive, and active spirit;
– The notion of democracy in a global sense;
– Modernity in its enlightening sense; and,
– Heritage as a human experience.
Gorara est une association marocaine active dans le domaine culturel et artistique. Créée en 2016, elle s’est fixé un objectif principal: contribuer au développement culturel de la société marocaine. Pour ce, elle inculque, à travers l’art et la culture, les valeurs suivantes :
– L’esprit civique, positif et actif ;
– la notion de la démocratie en sa connotation globale ;
– La modernité dans son sens éclairant;
– et le patrimoine en tant qu’expérience humaine.
“كورارة” هي جمعية مغربية ناشطة في المجال الثقافي والفني. تأسّست في عام 2016، وقد حدّدت لنفسها هدفًا رئيسيًّا واحدًا: المساهمة في التنمية الثقافية للمجتمع المغربي. لتحقيق هدفها، تسعى، من خلال الفن والثقافة، لغرس القيم التالية: – الحسّ المدني الإيجابي والنشط؛ – مفهوم الديمقراطية في معناها العالمي؛ – الحداثة بمعناها التنويري؛ – التراث كتجربة إنسانيّة.
ElMadina was founded in 2000 in Alexandria, Egypt. Through training, production, and management of cultural spaces, ElMadina has been working on promoting arts and culture and supporting artists and youth initiatives. ElMadina also seeks the creation of a culture market for artists in Alexandria as it is one of the main cultural centers in the Mediterranean. To achieve this, ElMadina works on transforming public spaces and marginalized areas to spaces where people can practice free expression, creating a cohesive social environment characterized by diversity and pluralism.
ElMadina believes that active citizens produce arts and culture and are therefore the safeguards of its sustainability. As such, ElMadina seeks restoring art as an indispensable part of the lives of people and an important parameter for sustainable human and social development. Art comes as a determining factor for democracy, human rights, and economic growth.
ElMadina, through its projects, is keen on targeting artists, youth groups, and women from all different social and economic backgrounds.

ElMadina s’efforce de promouvoir les arts et la culture et de soutenir les initiatives d’artistes et de jeunes à travers des formations, la production et la gestion d’espaces culturels. ElMadina agit également pour créer un marché culturel pour les artistes dans la ville d’Alexandrie, l’un des principaux centres culturels de la Méditerranée. Pour y parvenir, ElMadina transforme les espaces publics et les zones marginalisées en espaces d’expression libre, créant ainsi un environnement social cohésif caractérisé par la diversité et le pluralisme.
ElMadina est convaincu que les citoyens actifs sont les producteurs d’arts et de culture, donc leur seule garantie de durabilité. Inspiré de cette conviction, ElMadina agit pour que l’art soit partie intégrante de la vie des gens et un moteur principal du développement humain et social durable. L’art est un facteur déterminant pour la démocratie, les droits de l’Homme et la croissance économique.

تأسست “المدينة” عام 2000 في الإسكندرية، وهي تعمل على تعزيز الفنون والثقافة من خلال التدريب والإنتاج وإدارة المساحات الفنية ودعم الفنانين والمبادرات الشبابية. تهدف المؤسّسة إلى خلق سوق عمل للفنانين فى مدينة الإسكندرية (التي تُشكِّل أحد مراكز الثقافة في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط)، وتحويل الساحات العامة والأحياء المهمّشة إلى ساحات تعبير حر من أجل خلق بيئة ثقافية واجتماعية متماسكة تتميز بالتنوع والتعدّدية. تؤْمِن “المدينة” بأن المواطنين هم صُنّاع الثقافة والفنون، ومُحرِّك تطورها واستدامتها. لذلك فهي تسعى لإعلاء شأن الفن والثقافة كجزء من الممارسات الإنسانية الأساسية ومن العوامل الرئيسية للتنمية الاجتماعية المستدامة، مُقتنعةً بأن ذلك يُساهم فى تعزيز الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان، ويُحفِّز التنمية الاقتصادية. من خلال مشاريعها، تتوجّه “المدينة” إلى كل من الفنانين والمجموعات الشبابيّة والنساء من جميع الخلفيات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية.
Activist artists (Les Artivistes) is a Tunisian non-profit organization that works on spreading the values of citizenship according to the principles of universal human rights, through innovative art practices. The organization began as a spontaneous activist movement in the beginning of 2017, and later gained legal standing through the formation of the organization in 2018.
Les artistes activistes (les Artivistes) est une association tunisienne à but non lucratif qui agit pour disséminer les valeurs de citoyenneté comme définis dans les principes universels des droits de l’Homme à travers des initiatives culturelles créatives. Fondée en 2018, l’association est en réalité le fruit d’une mouvance activiste spontanée qui a vu le jour en 2017.
“الفنانون الناشطون” (لي زارتيفيست) هي جمعية تونسية غير ربحية تعمل على نشر قيم المواطنة وفق المبادئ العالمية لحقوق الإنسان، وذلك من خلال أساليب فنية مبتكرة. بدأت الجمعية عملها عام 2017 كحركة ناشطة عفويّة، ثمّ اتّخذت في عام 2018 شكلاً قانونياً من خلال تأسيس الجمعية.
The African Forum for Social Theater was launched in 2017 in Casablanca, and included representatives of six countries from North and West Africa. The forum works on three main axes: scientific research that links societies with theatrical practice; collective creativity through a joint presentation between partner institutions; and, the creation of an organizational structure for the African Social Theater Forum project.
Le Forum africain du théâtre social a été lancé en 2017 à Casablanca et comprend des représentants de six pays d’Afrique du Nord et de l’Ouest. Le projet vise trois axes principaux : la recherche scientifique qui relie les sociétés à la pratique théâtrale ; la créativité collective à travers une présentation conjointe entre les institutions partenaires ; et la création d’une structure organisationnelle pour le projet du Forum Africain du théâtre social.
أُطلِق المنتدى الإفريقي الأول للمسرح الاجتماعي سنة 2017 في الدار البيضاء، وضم ممثلين لست دول من شمال إفريقيا وغربها. يسعى المنتدى إلى تطوير حلم البداية من خلال الاشتغال على ثلاثة محاور أساسية: البحث العلمي الميداني الذي يربط المجتمعات بالممارسة المسرحية؛ الإبداع الجماعي عبر عرض مشترك بين المؤسسات الشريكة؛ والهيكلة التنظيمية لمشروع “المنتدى الإفريقي للمسرح الاجتماعي”
The goals of the African Forum for Social Theatre are to spread social theatre in public spaces, develop North and West African experiences in the field, promote networking and cultural and artistic exchange, and raise awareness about the importance of this type of theatre and the distinctive African experiences. Additionally, the project aims for the creation of an institutional presence that organizes social theatre at the continental level.
Le Forum Africain du Théâtre Social a pour objectif de promouvoir le théâtre social dans l'espace public, de développer des expériences nord-africaines et ouest-africaines dans ce domaine, d'encourager le réseautage et les échanges culturels et artistiques, et de sensibiliser autour de l'importance de ce type de théâtre ainsi que de valoriser les expériences africaines particulières.
Il vise également à créer une structure institutionnelle qui organise le théâtre social à l’échelle continentale.
يهدف "المنتدى الإفريقي للمسرح الاجتماعي" إلى نشر المسرح الاجتماعي في الفضاء العام، وتنمية تجارب شمال وغرب إفريقيا في هذا المجال، وتشجيع التشبيك والتبادل في حيِّزَي الثقافة والفن، ورفع الوعي حول أهمية هذا النوع من المسرح والتجارب الإفريقية المميزة.
يعسى "المنتدى" أيضاً إلى خلق إطار مؤسساتي يُنظِّم المسرح الاجتماعي على مستوى القارة.
