The Siwa Platform founded in 2011 in Redeyef, is an artistic lab with a strong local anchorage: the Economat. Dedicated to youths, this structure places arts and culture at the center as a driver of development, social ties, and emancipation. The Siwa Platform partners with Tunisian, Arab, and European artists and thinkers to initiate on-site experiments with local inhabitants through workshops, residencies, and encounters where youths try out artistic practice and develop their talents and projects under the supervision of artists (theater, music, dance, image, etc.).
La plateforme Siwa fondée en 2011, à Redeyef, est un laboratoire artistique avec un fort ancrage local : l’Économat. Dédiée aux jeunes, cette structure place les arts et la culture au centre comme moteur de développement, de lien social et d’émancipation. La plateforme Siwa s’associe à des artistes et des intellectuels tunisiens, arabes et européens pour initier des expériences sur place, et avec les habitants, à travers des ateliers, des résidences et des rencontres où les jeunes expérimentent la pratique artistique et développent leurs talents et leurs projets sous la supervision d’artistes (théâtre, musique, danse, image, etc.).
تأسّست منصة “سيوه” في بلدة الردَيّف في العام 2011، وهي مختبر فني وثيق الارتباط بالمجتمع المحلي من خلال فضاء “ليكونوما”. يُركِّز هذا الفضاء المخصّص للشباب على الفنون والثقافة باعتبارها محرِّكاً للتنمية ومُحفِّزاً للترابط الاجتماعي والتحرّر. بالشراكة مع فنانين ومفكرين تونسيين وعرب وأوروبيين، تُنظّم منصة “سيوه” مبادرات مع السكان المحليين تتخللها ورش عمل وإقامات فنية ولقاءات، تتيح للشباب ممارسة الفن والتجريب وتطوير مواهبهم ومشاريعهم بمساعدة فنانين محترفين من مجالات المسرح والموسيقى والرقص والصورة وغيرها.
We aim to: train youths in the fields of theater and cinema; encourage young audiences to take cultural initiatives; and, organize cultural events, including live shows, in Tunisia, Europe, and elsewhere.
Nous travaillons pour encadrer les jeunes dans les domaines du théâtre et du cinéma ; encourager la jeunesse à prendre des initiatives culturelles ; organiser des manifestations culturelles, dont les spectacles vivants en Tunisie, en Europe et ailleurs.
نهدف إلى تدريب الشباب في مجالي المسرح والسينما، وتشجيع هذه الفئة على إقامة المبادرات الثقافية وتنظيم الفعاليات بما في ذلك العروض الحية، في تونس وأوروبا كما على المستوى الدولي.
Our field of work centers around engaging youths in useful projects driven by their own realities and desires. At the Economat in Redeyef, we have created a space of multidisciplinary practices and artistic expressions (dance, theater, cinema, writing, audiovisual), in the form of workshops, art residencies, festivals, exhibitions, and encounters, during which youths can express themselves, meet Tunisian and foreign artists, experiment with artistic practices, and develop their own talents.
Notre champ de travail se focalise sur la participation des jeunes dans des projets utiles émanant de leurs propres réalités et de leurs désirs. A l’Economat de Redeyef nous avons créé un espace de pratiques et d’expressions artistiques multidisciplinaires (danse, théâtre, cinéma, écriture, audiovisuel) sous forme d’ateliers, de résidences artistiques, de festival, d’expositions et de rencontres où les jeunes peuvent s’exprimer, côtoyer des artistes tunisiens et étrangers, expérimenter les pratiques artistiques et développer leurs propres talents.
يتمحور عملنا حول إشراك الشباب في مشاريع مفيدة تنبثق من واقعهم ورغباتهم. أنشأنا في “ليكونوما”-الرديّف، فضاءً للممارسات والتعبيرات الفنية المتعددة التخصصات (الرقص والمسرح والسينما والكتابة والفنون السمعية-البصرية)، حيث ننظّم ورش عمل وإقامات فنية ومهرجانات ومعارض ولقاءات، يستطيع من خلالها الشباب التعبير عن أنفسهم والتعرّف على فنانين تونسيين وأجانب، واختبار الممارسات الفنية وتطوير مواهبهم.
With our NACP project, we initiated work to strengthen the Economat structure, in view of implementing a yearly programming and achieving sustainability. The project will also allow the enhancement of our training offer to youths and its tailoring towards theater and cinema.
Avec le projet proposé, Siwa Platform a déclenché le renforcement de la structure de l’Économat dans le but de mettre en place un programmation annuelle et de parvenir à la durabilité. De plus, les offres de formation aux jeunes ont été améliorées et adaptées au théâtre et au cinéma.
من خلال المشروع المُقترح، ستُعزّز منصة “سيوه” هيكل عمل فضاء “ليكونوما” عبر تأجيره لمؤسسات فنية أخرى كمصدر للدخل. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سنُطوِّر التدريب المُقدّم للشباب المحلي بحيث يكون أكثر مُلاءَمةً للمسرح والسينما.
