The regional Laboratory for research, creation and documentation aims to build and consolidate a network of independent Maghrebi cultural organizations around training, residencies, and the development of innovative methodologies for an inclusive artistic education in public schools. It answers to a desire for the exchange of experience among independent cultural organizations working for the development of contemporary creation in the Maghreb.
Le Laboratoire régional pour la recherche, création et documentation vise à l’établissement et la consolidation d’un réseau d’organisations culturelles indépendantes maghrébines autour d’activités de formation, de résidences croisées et de développement de méthodologies innovantes pour une éducation artistique inclusive dans les établissements d’enseignements publics. Il répond à un désir de partage d’expérience entre organisations culturelles indépendantes œuvrant pour le développement de la création contemporaine au Maghreb.
يهدف “المختبر الإقليمي للبحث والإبداع والتوثيق” إلى خلق وتوطيد شبكةٍ من المؤسسات الثقافية المغاربية المستقلة حول فعاليات التدريب والإقامات الفنية وتطوير المناهج الإبداعية بما يُشكِّل خطة شاملة للتعليم الفنّي في المدارس العامة. ويلبي الحاجة إلى تبادل الخبرات بين المؤسسات الثقافية المستقلة التي تعمل على تطوير الإبداع المعاصر في المغرب العربي.
L'Atelier de l'Observatoire (Casablanca) and La Maison de l'Image (Tunis) have been working for about ten years to strengthen the field of contemporary creation in Morocco and Tunisia. Each of us has accumulated considerable know-how in this field. Today, we feel the need to create a regional space for exchange that will allow us to take a step back from our own activities, to document our respective approaches, and to share our accumulated experience by confronting it with other ways of doing. This exchange is the basis for the renewal of our practices and their mutual enrichment. The Laboratory works to create the conditions for the emergence of diverse experimentations that enable us to collectively build tools for artistic intervention in line with the realities of our societies.
L’Atelier de l’Observatoire (Casablanca) et La Maison de l’Image (Tunis) œuvrent depuis une dizaine d'années pour le renforcement du champ de la création contemporaine au Maroc et en Tunisie. Nous avons accumulé, chacun de notre côté, un savoir-faire important dans ce domaine. Nous sentons la nécessité aujourd’hui de créer un espace de partage régional qui nous permettra de prendre du recul par rapport à nos propres activités ; de documenter nos démarches respectives et de partager notre expérience accumulée en la confrontant à d’autres façons de faire. Ce partage est à la base du renouvellement de nos pratiques et de leur enrichissement mutuel. Le sens de la création du Laboratoire est de fournir les conditions pour l’émergence de divers expérimentations qui permettent la construction collective d’outils d’intervention artistique inscrits dans les réalités de nos sociétés.
يعمل "مشغل المرصد" (الدار البيضاء) و"بيت الصورة" (تونس) منذ عشر سنوات على تعزيز مجال الإبداع المعاصر في المغرب وتونس.
لقد راكمنا، كلّ من جهته، خبرة واسعة في هذا المجال. إنّنا نرى اليوم أنّ هناك حاجة إلى إنشاء مساحة إقليمية للتشارك، من شأنها أن تُتيح لنا التريث في نشاطاتنا الخاصة، وتوثيق مساعينا ومشاركة خبراتنا عبر مقارنتها مع أساليب عمل مختلفة. يُشكِّل هذا التشارك أساسَ تجديد ممارساتنا وإثرائها. يهدف إنشاء المختبر إلى تأمين الظروف المواتية لبروز تجارب مختلفة تسمح ببناء مجموعة أدوات لنشاطات فنية مندمجة مع واقع مجتمعاتنا.
