Art and Life for Children at Risk (Egypt) works to emotionally and socially support children at risk through artistic and creative activities and empowering them with self-expression and communication skills. Art and Life wants to allow children and youth the opportunity to participate in a continuous social and artistic educational program, providing them with a space for expression and self-improvement through various arts in order to build their confidence and achieve cultural dialogue.
Art and Life for Children at Risk (Art et vie pour les enfants en danger, Égypte) s’efforce de soutenir émotionnellement et socialement les enfants à risque à travers des activités artistiques et créatives et de leur permettre d’acquérir des compétences d’expression et de communication. Art et Vie veut permettre aux enfants et aux jeunes de participer à un programme éducatif social et artistique continu, leur offrant un espace d’expression et de développement personnel à travers les arts afin de leur donner confiance en soi et parvenir au dialogue culturel.
نعمل مع الأطفال المعرضين للخطر وندعمهم نفسيًا واجتماعيًا من خلال الفن والإبداع، وبهدف تمكينهم من امتلاك سبل للتعبير عن أنفسهم والتواصل مع الآخرين. تسعى “فن وحياة” لإتاحة الفرصة للأطفال واليافعين للمشاركة في برنامج فني اجتماعي يستمرّ طوال العام، بهدف التعلم، والتمكين، وخلق مساحة للتعبير عن الذات، وتنمية المهارات بواسطة الفنون المختلفة من أجل اكتساب الثقة وتحفيز التواصل بين المجتمعات.
Liv’Art believes in every Tunisian citizen’s right to culture and art. As such, its main activity is making artistic activities available to children and youth in marginalized areas. Liv’Art wants to provide them with the necessary artistic tools to express their ideas and visions on social change in Tunisia and the world. Liv’Art also aims to deconstruct preconceived ideas about these marginalized areas by making them suitable for hosting cultural events and festivals from around the world.
L’association Liv’Art est convaincue du droit de chaque citoyen tunisien à l’art et la culture. Ainsi, son objectif principal est de rendre accessible les activités artistiques aux jeunes et enfants des zones marginalisées. Liv’Art leur fournit les outils artistiques nécessaires pour exprimer leurs opinions et visions sur les changements sociaux en Tunisie et ailleurs. L’association vise aussi à déconstruire les idées préconçues sur ces zones marginalisées en les rendant accueillantes pour des rencontres culturelles et festivals du monde entier.
تؤمن جمعية “الفن الحي” بأنّ لكل مواطنٍ تونسي حقّ بالوصول إلى الثقافة والفن. بالتالي، فإنّ هدفنا الأساسي وضع النشاطات الفنية في متناول الأطفال والشباب المقيمين في المناطق المهمشة. إنّ جمعيّتنا تُوفِّر لهم الأدوات الفنية التي تتيح لهم التعبير عن أفكارهم ووجهات نظرهم حيال التطورات الاجتماعية في كلٍّ من تونس والعالم. تسعى الجمعيّة أيضاً إلى تفكيك الأفكار المسبقة المرتبطة بهذه المناطق المهمّشة من أجل تحويلها إلى مناطق تستقبل الفعاليات والهرجانات الثقافية والفنيّة من كافة أنحاء العالم.
The aim is to create a space of residencies and multidisciplinary African-Maghrebi artistic creation in the troglodyte village of Matmata in south Tunisia. The project consists of nine artist residencies and six training workshops over three years, concluding with a yearly festival. The project puts to test a methodology for collaborative and local production between artists and villagers, focused on ecology.
Le projet vise à créer un espace de résidences et de création artistique multidisciplinaire afro-maghrébin dans le village troglodyte de Matmata dans le sud tunisien. Neuf résidences d’artistes et six ateliers de formation sur une période de trois ans se clôtureront chaque année par un festival. Il s’agit également de tester un modèle de production collaborative et locale, centré sur l’écologie, entre des artistes et des villageois.
يهدف هذا المشروع إلى خلق فضاءٍ للإقامات الفنية والإبداع الإفريقي المغاربي المتعدد التخصصات في حفائر قرية “مطماطة” في الجنوب التونسي. يَتضمّن المشروع 9 إقامات فنية و6 ورش عمل تدريبية تمتدّ على 3 سنوات، على أن تُختتم فعاليات البرنامج بمهرجان يُعقد سنويًا. يختبر المشروع كذلك منهج عمل للإنتاج التشاركي بين الفنانين والسكان المحليين.
Through the “Let's Talk Cinema: Love and War” project, we want to get one step closer to achieving the dream of Beni M’Tir region, and the North-Western region in general, becoming a hub for culture through an international cinema festival for children and youth. The biennial festival will bring together Tunisia and Egypt in its first edition through Liv’Art, working with youth from marginalized areas of the Tunisian North West, and the Alexandria-based Art and Life Initiative, which has been working with children and youth at risk and temporarily homeless due to problems at home and who now reside in shelters. The collaboration was possible thanks to the shared programming and vision of these two organizations seeking to offer disadvantaged children and youth a common space for expression through art.
Nous faisons, à travers le projet Let's Talk Cinema : Love and War, un pas de plus vers la réalisation d’un rêve : faire de la région de Beni M'Tir et, plus généralement, du nord-ouest un pôle culturel rayonnant, grâce à un festival international de cinéma pour enfants et jeunes. Le festival biennal réunit en sa première édition la Tunisie et l'Égypte avec Liv'Art, qui travaille avec les jeunes des zones marginalisées du nord-ouest tunisien, et Art et Vie, qui travaille depuis des années à Alexandrie avec les enfants et les jeunes à risque de danger et devenus temporairement sans abri en raison de problèmes au domicile familiale et qui résident dans des centres de transitions et d'hébergement. Cette collaboration a pu se faire grâce aux similitudes que les deux associations partagent au niveau de la programmation et de la vision qui cherchent, à travers l’art, à offrir aux jeunes et enfants défavorisés un espace d’expression commun.
نسعى من خلال مشروع "نحكي سينما: الحب والحرب"، إلى الاقتراب من تحقيق حلمنا: أن تصبح منطقة بني مطير، والشمال الغربي عموماً، نقطة إشعاع ثقافي من خلال مهرجان سينمائي دولي للأطفال والشباب يُقام مرّة كل سنتَين. في دورته الأولى، سوف يجمع المهرجان تونس ومصر، وذلك من خلال التعاون بين جمعية "الفن الحي" التي تعمل إلى جانب شباب المناطق المهمَشة في الشمال الغربي التونسي، ومبادرة "فن وحياة" المصرية التي تعمل منذ سنوات إلى جانب أطفال وشباب الإسكندرية المعرضين للخطر والذين أصبحوا مؤقّتاً بلا مأوى نتيجة مشاكل عائليّة، ثم التحقوا بمؤسسات وملاجئ اجتماعية. كان هذا التعاون ممكناً بفضل تشابه أهداف ووجهات نظر هاتين المؤسستين اللتين تسعيان إلى توفير مساحة مشتركة للأطفال والشباب المحرومين للتعبير من خلال الفن.
